Location and Pay Location: Bakersfield, California. Pay range: $24.22 - $34.98 per hour, based on experience, skill level, education, and local wage laws. Position Summary We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to deliver high‑quality preventive care to a variety of animals, build strong relationships with pets and their owners, collaborate with a veterinary team, and work under the direction of a veterinarian in compliance with state law. Responsibilities Provide furry, feathered, and scaled pets with the best possible care, especially preventive care. Upon approval from a supervising veterinarian, perform veterinary technician appointments under the veterinarian’s direction and in compliance with state law.
