Accounts Payable Specialist

Our nonprofit client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for their team. If you have at least three years of experience and would enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist Process purchase orders and payments Research and address any invoicing discrepancies Issue 1099s Maintain accurate files Perform additional tasks as assigned Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist 3+ years AP experience from purchase order to payment processing Associate degree in accounting or work experience in the accounting field; must have understanding of general ledger, reconciliation processes, and journal entries Knowledge of 1099 processing Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience with enterprise accounting systems Strong communication skills and professional demeanor Ability to maintain confidentiality The Accounts Payable Specialist works full-time, first-shift hours.
