Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II – Onsite at Tewksbury, Massachusetts. This role requires active and transferable Secret‑level security clearance and U.S. citizenship. What You Will Do Review and approve configuration management requests within authority. Conduct technical and administrative assessments. Integrate new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools. Support ISSOs and Cybersecurity Managers in creating, reviewing, and updating cybersecurity documentation and technical writing. Oversee ISSOs to ensure implementation of policies and procedures as outlined in cybersecurity artifacts and governing documentation. Provide guidance and technical training to ISSOs across the organization. Represent the cybersecurity organization to external counterparts. Travel intermittently to other Raytheon locations (10–20%). Qualifications University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience. IAM LevelI certification (e.g., Security+). Experience in cybersecurity, systems security, or hardening. Compliance‑based auditing using RMF, DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), NISPOM, and/or non‑defense regulations such as FAA, PCI, ISO9001, or HIPAA. Proficiency with computer technologies including databases, operating systems, network hardware, software, hardware troubleshooting, or electronics. Preferred Qualifications Experience in DoD classified operating or laboratory environments. Familiarity with vulnerability analysis and mitigation tools such as Splunk, Forcepoint, Ivanti, Tenable, ACAS, or HBSS. Knowledge of implementing NIST, CNSSI, DoD, or other government regulatory compliance standards. Experience executing Assessment & Authorization processes within RMF. Technical security consultation for complex, cross‑domain, heterogeneous classified network environments. Understanding of DISA STIGs and large multi‑facility network environments (Windows & Linux).
