Ive been an agent with since 2016 and currently lead a team of nine. Over the years, Ive focused on building a strong, supportive team environment where people can grow and succeed together.

Outside of the office, Ive been married for over 28 years and have three children. Ive also spent time coaching youth sports in Bay City, which reflects my passion for mentorship, teamwork, and helping others develop.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Jon Laporte - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
