Administrator/Property Manager - Affordable housing

Overview HumanGood is the largest nonprofit owner/operator of senior living communities in California, and one of the largest of its kind in the nation. We are looking for a Property Manager (formerly Housing Administrator) to manage the overall operations of the residential community to provide quality services within budgetary boundaries. Schedule Full time. Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. Compensation Salary range: $80,000 - $85,000 depending on experience. Live-In Responder unit included upon successful 90-day probation period. Qualifications HUD and Tax Credit property management experience required. 2+ years of experience as a manager for an affordable housing community or equivalent. 2+ years of experience leading & supervising a team required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, major in a discipline concerned with service to people such as social work, business or public administration or a related field. Certificate of Occupancy Specialist preferred (or willingness to obtain shortly after hire). Responsibilities Oversee the overall operations of the community. Maintain compliance with all requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), state Housing Finance Agency and state and local government agencies. Full-cycle management of team members including instructing, assigning and reviewing work, performance management, recruiting and all other personnel functions. Build positive relationships with current and potential residents, team members and government agencies. Monitor the financial condition of the community; estimate present and future financial needs; monitor, prepare, and administer financial analysis, budgets and cash management. Always be REAC & MOR ready.
