Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Ensures safety and quality standards are maintained throughout imaging processes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray and radiologic equipment to produce clear diagnostic images.
• Verify patient identity and explain procedures to ensure cooperation.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures, imaging results, and patient information.
• Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Adhere to clinical guidelines and agency policies during imaging procedures.
• Conduct equipment checks and perform basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid ARRT certification in Radiography (X-ray/Rad Tech).
• Possess a current driver's license with picture ID.
• Provide a valid BLS certification; ACLS/PALS are preferred.
• Maintain up-to-date tuberculosis testing and immunization records.
• Demonstrate proficiency in radiation safety and patient care.
• Successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
