Advanced Analytics Associate Director - Kidney

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks an Advanced Analytics Associate Director to lead data science and analytics initiatives for the U.S. Kidney therapeutic area. The role combines commercial analytics expertise with technical capabilities to develop models, dashboards, and insights that support strategic business decisions across the kidney business.

Responsibilities

Partner with forecasting and kidney therapeutic-area teams to identify strategic analytics opportunities and business questions
Design, develop, validate, and maintain advanced analytics models to quantify market drivers, barriers, and opportunities
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPI tracking systems, and automated reporting solutions at national and territory levels
Integrate data across internal and external sources to create scalable analytical assets and business-ready insights
Create executive presentations and decision-support tools evaluating commercial scenarios, risks, and potential actions

Requirements

Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, SAS, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling
Expertise in statistical analysis, predictive analytics, machine learning, and data visualization techniques
Demonstrated experience analyzing large pharmaceutical datasets and commercial healthcare data sources
Strong Power BI dashboard design, development, and data modeling capabilities
Experience with IQVIA or comparable pharmaceutical third-party data vendors
Ability to communicate complex technical analyses to executive and non-technical audiences
