Project Manager

Forsyth County is seeking qualified candidates for transportation project management opportunities at either the Project Manager I or Project Manager II level. Placement will depend on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications. These positions support and manage transportation infrastructure projects from planning through construction, including coordination with internal departments, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other project stakeholders. Projects may include roadway, intersection, sidewalk, drainage, traffic, bridge, and other related public infrastructure improvements. Project Manager I level is the entry-level classification in the Project Manager series and is intended for candidates with related project management, construction management, inspection, transportation infrastructure, or public infrastructure experience. Project Manager II level is the journey-level classification and is intended for candidates with more advanced experience managing the full range of transportation infrastructure project duties with greater independence. Candidates must have transportation infrastructure project experience. A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred. Salary Range: $67,304.00 - $108,605.00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
