Job Title: Interventional Radiology RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years License: Yes Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Level I Trauma experience, Pre-op/PACU experience or ICU experience Description: We are seeking an Interventional Radiology RN. Candidates with ICU experience and IR experience will also be considered. Level I Trauma experience is required. The role involves managing pre and post-procedural care for patients under conscious sedation and general anesthesia. The position requires certifications in BLS and ACLS, with PALS preferred. Shifts are 10 hours long, from Monday to Friday, either 0700-1730 or 0730-1800 based on the needs. The unit includes 5 angio rooms, 2 CT scanners, and various diagnostic and intervention technologies. Experience handling cases such as body IR, neuro endovascular, and stroke treatment is essential. RNs will not be responsible for work in the neuro endovascular area, only in body IR. Occasional weekend and holiday shifts may be required, approximately 1-2 Saturdays and potential holidays per month. Team support includes IR techs and nursing staff. Tele and ventilation support are available as needed. Pharmacy and RT services are on site 24/7. Candidates should be comfortable with critical care and tele patients, as well as outpatient populations. This role will focus on body IR procedures involving various diagnostics and interventions.
