Medical Front Desk / Patient Access Representative

Contract‑to‑Hire | 5 Months | $18/hr | Outpatient Office

We’re seeking a Patient Access Representative to support a busy outpatient practice . This role is ideal for someone who delivers excellent patient service and thrives in a fast‑paced front‑desk environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient greeting with eye contact, a smile, and a positive tone
• Guide new patients through paperwork and answer questions
• Patient registration and demographic updates
• Insurance verification and authorizations
• Collect co‑pays and process payments
• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone

Required Experience

• 1+ years in medical front desk, general front desk, or customer service
• Must have insurance verification experience
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to manage a heavy workload in a busy practice
• Strong computer proficiency

Work Environment

• Outpatient office
• High‑volume, fast‑paced setting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westerville, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
