Inpatient Psychiatrist Opportunity

Location: Canton, OH

We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join an established behavioral health program in Canton, Ohio . This opportunity is for a secondary psychiatrist providing inpatient psychiatric care at a 70+ bed adult behavioral health facility .

The psychiatrist will work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team to evaluate and treat adult patients requiring inpatient psychiatric services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
• Provide inpatient psychiatric care
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing patient assessments
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
• Manage psychiatric medications and monitor patient response to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, therapists, social workers, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team
• Participate in treatment planning and discharge planning
• Provide clinical consultation and support as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support continuity and quality of care throughout the inpatient stay

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
• Eligible for an Ohio medical license
• Experience providing adult psychiatric care preferred
• Inpatient Psychiatry experience preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and collaborative skills
