Artech provides technical expertise to fill gaps in clients' immediate skill-sets availability, deliver emerging technology skill-sets, refresh existing skill base, allow for flexibility in project planning and execution phases, and provide budgeting/financial flexibility by offering contingent labor as a variable cost.Job Description• Techniques: Quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) with dissipation, FTIR, UV, coursework in analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, and statistics• The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers involved in assessing cleaning protocols for consumer and pharmaceutical products.• The candidate will use QCM with dissipation to study residues on manufacturing surfaces.• Prior knowledge of QCM is not required but considered a plus.• The candidate will conduct DOE design experiments using the QCM and conduct supporting experiments with spectroscopy techniques such as FTIR or UV-visible spectrometry.• The position also involves wet lab techniques (preparing solutions); spin coating films onto metallic substrates, and chemical cleaning of substrates.• Familiarity with basic light microscopy also considered a plus.
