We are committed to providing exceptional service and support to our customers. Our Mobile Service Technicians are a critical part of keeping our customers’ vehicles on the road and operating safely. Job Summary The Mobile Service Technician plays a vital role in performing on-site maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics for commercial and emergency vehicles. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills, who enjoys working independently in the field, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll handle scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting directly at customer locations — keeping vehicles safe, reliable, and compliant with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Perform on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Respond to road calls and provide efficient, high-quality mobile service to minimize vehicle downtime. Operate and maintain company-provided service vehicles, tools, and equipment. Document all services performed, parts used, and customer interactions accurately through work orders and reports. Communicate with the service manager, parts department, and customers regarding job status and timelines. Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of tools, equipment, and hazardous materials. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend preventative maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked mobile service truck. Represent Campbell Supply professionally and uphold customer service standards at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of experience as a diesel truck or mobile service technician. Strong proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to work independently in the field and manage time effectively. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record ( CDL preferred but not required ). Familiarity with mobile diagnostic tools, equipment, and repair procedures. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Willingness to participate in ongoing training to stay current with vehicle technology and repair methods. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Frequent use of diagnostic equipment, power tools, and hand tools. Requires standing, bending, and climbing in and around vehicles for extended periods. Why Join Campbell Supply?
