Job Highlights Career scholarships Quality training, continuing career education and leadership programs Employee discount program Scenic Spaces to Recharge A Team That Feels Like Family Supportive Leadership Meaningful Work with Lasting Impact Predictable, Balanced Schedules NetSpend-Earn 50% of your wages before payday Compensation: $20.00-22.00 per hour based on years of experience Shift: M-F with every other weekend 11am-7:00pm Responsibilities Maintains excellent relationships with residents, resident family members, guests, peers, and management Works with the Chef and Director of Dining Services to suggest nutritious and top‑quality food for residents and guests Implements and maintains new culinary and service programs in conjunction with the culinary team Trains and maintains a high standard for dining room and other food service venues Manages with a “can do” attitude, adhering to our service vision of “Exceptional Care. (Courtesy, Attention to Detail, Responsiveness and Enthusiasm) Maintains visibility during meal times by seating and greeting residents, addressing concerns, and ensuring their needs are met Responds to and resolves resident or guest complaints regarding dining room experience Schedules and assigns tasks to servers, including assigning tables and side and closing duties Directs and monitors servers, baristas, and café attendants, ensuring uniform appearance, customer service, and proper food handling techniques Trains servers, baristas, and café attendants on operating procedures and menu education Ensures floor charts and tables are set up correctly Assists servers as needed (e.g., pouring coffee and water) Assists department staff with processing invoices and inventories Checks menus for accuracy Oversees timely processing of guest meal charges Assists with orientation and training of new dining staff Hires, terminates, and coaches all servers, baristas, and café staff Completes all HR paperwork for hiring, performance reviews, and terminations Supervises processing of department payroll Has knowledge of catering program and serves as backup for Lead Server and catering events, assisting the Dining Department in preparing and setting up special events Supervises all activity in all dining venues Practices all safety and loss‑prevention procedures Maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene Attends all in‑services as required Attends culinary and dining‑service related meetings Performs pre‑meal preparation before meal service Conducts annual service reviews and in‑services Maintains ServSafe certification Responsible for alcohol ordering and inventory Orders soda products for café and barista Meet with new residents to review dining procedures/menus within a month of move‑in Other duties as assigned by the Department Director Educational Requirements and Experience High school diploma required; college degree in Hospitality‑related field preferred Two (2) to four (4) years of food service experience required CCRC dining experience required; resort and/or country club experience a plus Strong leadership and communication skills a must Multi‑point of service experience a plus to manage retail, event, and dining‑room service Excellent communication skills Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
