Quality Assurance Analyst

IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide. Our client is in need of a QA Analyst to serve as a software tester—ensuring system requirements are testable and accurately met, performing preliminary ADA Standards reviews of systems, assisting with application vulnerability security scanning, and ensuring the client and vendor partners deliver a quality‑tested solution to our agencies. This position is an advocate for adherence to PSPs, helping to ensure secure access, use, and storage of various data supporting business operations. In addition, this position works closely with business partners to uphold quality standards across our IT systems, websites, web applications, mobile sites, and mobile applications. NOTE: Local candidates or non-local candidates willing to relocate at their own expense are required. The position will be hybrid, in office two days a week (Tue/Wed) upon start and there is no remote‑only option. Location: Lansing, MI Contract: 1+ years Skills Required: 5 years – General QA experience including writing and executing manual test cases 5 years – Experience with defect tracking and management, as well as validating test results, tracking testing metrics, and communicating test/defect activities with project team and customers 2 years – Experience testing ADA accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) 2 years – Experience reviewing and triaging vulnerability scan results Bachelor's Degree in a related field Rate depends on experience Candidates authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
