Overview:

Our organization is enhancing its gastroenterology services and is in search of board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologists to become part of our expanding program.

We understand that physicians have varying career aspirations. As we establish a comprehensive gastroenterology service line, we are intentionally creating flexible practice structures to accommodate both physician preferences and community needs. We currently offer several pathways:

Option 1: Inpatient-Focused GI Hospitalist

• Primary duties include inpatient consultations and procedures.

• Dedicated hospital schedule (7 days on, 7 days off).

• Collaborative work environment with hospitalists, intensivists, and surgeons.

• Attractive compensation linked to inpatient productivity.

This track is well-suited for physicians who prefer a hospital-centric practice with a focus on procedures, without outpatient responsibilities.

Option 2: Blended Inpatient + Outpatient Practice

• Opportunities for inpatient coverage alongside outpatient clinic duties.

• Flexible balance between inpatient and outpatient care, customizable to physician preferences and program requirements.

• Chance to build long-term patient relationships within a robust referral network.

• Involvement in shaping clinic operations, scheduling, and future recruitment efforts.

This pathway enables physicians to create a practice model that can emphasize either inpatient or outpatient care, with the potential to influence the service line's structure over time.

Option 3: PRN / Supplemental Coverage

• PRN coverage for inpatient consultations and procedures.

• Flexible scheduling based on individual availability.

• Opportunity to contribute to program growth while maintaining other practice commitments.

This option is ideal for physicians looking for supplemental income, semi-retirement flexibility, or transitional practice arrangements.
