Job Location Wendell, North Carolina, United States of America Job Overview We are seeking Mechanical Assemblers Level 2 to join our MCC – New PACS Facility at Siemens in Wendell, NC. As a Mechanical Assembler you will build and assemble Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment, such as Switchgears, Switchboards, and Breakers. Shift Hours 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Hourly Rate $20.36 per hour. Responsibilities Assemble sub‑assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders, including mechanical assembly of steel components. Record job transactions, read BOMs, follow layouts and assembly drawings. Set and use torque wrenches correctly, adhering to developed processes and seeking ways to improve. Adhere to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and be a strong team player. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field. 1+ year of experience working with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery operated. Knowledge of torque wrench and applied torque values. Experience with using a tape measure and other measuring devices. Able to identify mechanical parts and electrical components. Ability to occasionally lift parts or sub‑assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs. Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
