We are a busy and growing  podiatry practice seeking a  reliable, compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Assist the podiatrist during exams and in-office procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take patient histories and update electronic medical records (EMR)
• Perform basic wound care and dressing changes
• Assist with X-rays, injections, blood draws, and minor procedures (training provided if needed)
• Handle phone calls, scheduling, and patient communication as needed

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant certification
• Prior experience in podiatry, orthopedics, or a medical office is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

(Bilingual in Spanish- a plus)

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently
• Professional, compassionate, and dependable
