Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care to a ratio of 1:6/7, accommodating up to 1:7 as needed.
• Coordinate and execute nursing care for patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, and pneumonia.
• Perform duties as a charge nurse while managing an assigned patient load.
• Administer and titrate heparin drips based on aPTT results.
• Collaborate with PCTs and other team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Adapt to floating requirements and flexible scheduling including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with no licensing hits at the time of submission.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including day/night and weekends.
• Strong understanding of medical-surgical nursing care with a focus on acute settings.
• Proficient in remote telemetry monitoring collaboration.
