We Are Hiring Location: Hoffman Estates, IL Facility Name: Ascension St. Alexius Women and Children's Hospital Schedule: PRN Base salary: $120.00 - $130.00 per hour Malpractice coverage with tail What You Will Do This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established, stable and experienced team of Physicians and Nurse Practitioners Practice setting: Inpatient High acuity Busy Pediatric Hospitalist Service Nice mix of 10 hr and 24 hr in-house shifts See patients on General Pediatric Floor and Pediatric Nursery Some PICU coverage Occasional delivery room coverage and ER consultations as needed 24 Pediatric beds 8 PICU beds 30 Pediatric Nursery beds Level III NICU and PICU Excellent support staff Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist Eligible for state medical license and DEA/Controlled Substance registration About the Facility 131 bed hospital All private rooms Level III NICU/PICU 3,000 plus births Integrated referral network Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
