Phlebotomist Floater

Position Phlebotomist Float – Cullman, AL Work Schedule Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 6:00am–6:00pm and rotating Saturdays. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other diagnostic panels. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Execute administrative and clerical duties as required. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Two (2) years or more of phlebotomy experience. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19, or qualify for an exemption. Preferred Qualifications Three (3) years or more of phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency. Proven track record providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation. Minimum age 21 years. Additional Job Standards Ready to travel to additional sites as required. Compliance with site safety and hygiene protocols. Incentives Float Phlebotomist may be eligible for the Paid Service Time (PST) Incentive Plan, which includes a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Float incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. Benefits Employees scheduled 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled fewer than 20 hours, casual, intern, or temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7on/7off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
