It is a demanding job but also very rewarding.ResponsibilitiesRecord a patient's medical history accuratelyTake and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.Administer injections, prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasksCollect samples for lab testing as assignedRequirements and SkillsProven experience as LPN or similar roleAbility to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary teamFamiliarity with medical facility health, safety and sanitation standards and proceduresUnderstanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practicesExcellent knowledge of medical terminologyPerfect physical condition and staminaExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate and able to handle stressMust have completed an accredited LPN program with 2 years of experience as an LPN or is a licensed LPN.Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 per hourAmerican Family Care has pioneered the concept of convenient, patient-centric healthcare.
