POSITION DETAILS

• Job Title: ESY Paraprofessional
• Location: San Francisco, CA
• Contract Dates: June 15 – July 10, 2026
• Program: Extended School Year (ESY / Summer School)
• Schedule: Monday through Friday (part-time hours)
• Pay: $26 – $28 per hour, based on experience
------------------
WHAT YOU'LL DO
------------------
• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students with diverse learning needs in individual and small group settings
• Assist lead teachers in delivering ESY curriculum and summer programming
• Support students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities
• Assist in implementing IEP goals under the direction of the supervising teacher
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment throughout the summer program

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
------------------
Candidates must meet ONE of the following qualifications:
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or higher
• Completion of 48 or more college units AND a high school diploma or equivalent
• Passing score on the CBEST AND a high school diploma or equivalent
• Passing score on the Instructional Aide Exam AND a high school diploma or equivalent
Additional preferred qualifications:
• Prior experience supporting students with disabilities or in a school-based setting
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies and IEP support
• Patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for student success
