Automotive Sales Consultant

Location: Jim Shorkey KIA Wexford Job Type: Full-time About the Role We're looking for a motivated automotive professional to bridge the gap between our service department and sales floor. You'll engage with customers as they come in for service: building rapport, identifying early buying signals, and guiding them toward purchasing or leasing a new vehicle. This is a high-visibility role for someone who loves talking cars and closing deals without waiting for the phone to ring. Key Responsibilities Greet service customers and start conversations about their current vehicle, ownership experience, and future needs Identify potential buyers and introduce them to new or certified pre-owned inventory Walk the service lane daily, checking in with waiting customers and following up on any expressed interest Coordinate with service advisors to time introductions and minimize disruption to the service workflow Set test drives, present vehicle options, and work deals through to delivery alongside the sales team Track leads and follow up consistently via phone, text, and email Maintain working knowledge of current inventory, incentives, and financing offers Requirements Qualifications 12 years of experience in the automotive industry Strong interpersonal skills - comfortable starting conversations with strangers Basic understanding of vehicle features, trim levels, and common service needs Valid driver's license and clean driving record Dealership CRM experience is a plus
