Succeed.#BeHereLocation: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.This job is ON - SITE.FTE: 1.000000Standard Hours:40.00Shift: Shift 2Shift Details: Holidays: Weekends:JobSummary:Under general supervision, performs routine tasks relating to the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, equipment and sterile supplies. Operates and monitors cleaning/sterilization equipment. Maintains records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards. Other duties as assigned.Other information:EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:One year of related healthcare experience is preferred.EDUCATION REQUIRED:High School diploma or equivalent is required.EDUCATION PREFERRED:Successful completion of Central Sterile coursework preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:Ability to read and write necessary to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions, IFUs and complete required documentation. Basic arithmetic calculations necessary to count instruments and complete count sheets are required.
