Registered Nurse - Operating Room
This position includes four 10-hour shifts, with hours from 6:40 AM to 5:10 PM.
This is a 13-week contract position.
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Room setting. Responsibilities include collaborating with the healthcare team, ensuring patient safety, administering medications, and conducting ongoing assessments of patients during surgical procedures.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and preparations
- Assist in the operating room during surgical procedures
- Monitor and manage patient recovery post-surgery
- Collaborate with the surgical team for optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care
- Minimum 24 months of recent operating room or inpatient experience
- Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from approved vendors (AHA, ARC, ASHI)
- Driver's license for residency verification
