Registered Nurse (RN), Women's Services Job Type: PRN Position Summary The Women's Services unit at Spring View Hospital is a 6‑bed team that delivers specialized care to critically ill patients. The RN will utilize the nursing process — assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation — to provide exceptional patient care and collaboration across disciplines. Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care. Document patient care accurately. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assist patients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support. Evaluate learning needs and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Minimum Qualifications Education: Associate’s degree in nursing required ; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred . Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire; Neonatal Resuscitation, Basic Fetal Monitoring, and STABLE required within 6 months of hire; ACLS required within 12 months of hire. License: Current RN license in the state of Kentucky.
