Job Title: Dietician Profession: Dietician Specialty: Nutrition Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:00 - 16:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year in acute care hospital License: Texas RD License Certifications: CDR-RD License Must-Have: - At least 1 year experience working in an acute care hospital Description: The role involves data collection. The unit has a total of 372 beds. There are 2 staff members during the day shift. Typical patient ratios are 10-15 patients per registered dietician. The equipment used includes an EMR system. Skills most recruited for include nutrition support experience, specifically enteral and parenteral nutrition. Typical procedures performed include nutrition assessments, nutrition-focused physical examinations, education, and TF/TPN orders. In-services for dietary staff are also part of the responsibilities. The ideal candidate is independent and driven, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced setting. Candidates lacking the required skills will not be considered for the role. Consideration will be given to candidates with preferred skills first. There are no weekend or on-call requirements for this position.
