Job Overview Ultrasound Technologist – OB GYN MOB V at Providence Non-RN – Oregon The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations primarily in obstetrics and gynecology, utilizing advanced sonographic equipment while adapting to patient‑specific needs. Responsibilities Perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians’ orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment and taking into account individual patient’s special or age‑related needs. Education, Licensure, and Certification Requirements Education to meet certification, license or registration requirements. Board eligible for certification at the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer (or Temporary) and National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. Within 6 months of hire: National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. New graduates: must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire. New graduates: must have OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire. Preferred Qualifications Two years of clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $44.67 – $69.35 per hour (base pay); additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
