AP Clerk

Century Group is partnering with a client who is looking for an experienced automotive AP Clerk to join our team and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Expected starting base salary $56,000 to $70,000 per year.

• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Reconcile vendor statements and correct any discrepancies.
• Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.

• HS Diploma required, Associate's degree/ BS degree in business, accounting or related field preferred.
• 3+ years proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Strong Excel) and payroll/accounting software's.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized to keep on tasks efficiently.
• Written & Oral communication skills to liase with departments and vendors.
• Understand laws regarding new and pre-owned sales contracts and sales tax.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle high volumes of transactions.
