Century Group is partnering with a client who is looking for an experienced automotive AP Clerk to join our team and deliver an exceptional customer experience. We strive to deliver the very best for our customers by promoting positive and excellent experiences. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $56,000 to $70,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Reconcile vendor statements and correct any discrepancies.
- Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
- HS Diploma required, Associate's degree/ BS degree in business, accounting or related field preferred.
- 3+ years proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Strong Excel) and payroll/accounting software's.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized to keep on tasks efficiently.
- Written & Oral communication skills to liase with departments and vendors.
- Understand laws regarding new and pre-owned sales contracts and sales tax.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle high volumes of transactions.
