Physical Therapy AssistantPride Health is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to support our home health client in Leesburg, FL.Job Details: Schedule: 08:00 am to 04:30 pm, Monday-Friday Location: Leesburg, FL Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay Range: $38.00 to $43.00 an Hour *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.DutiesProvide home health physical therapy treatments and therapeutic exercises under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following the established plan of care to improve patient mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.Monitor and document patient progress, response to treatment, and any changes in condition, communicating updates promptly to the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team.Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercise programs, safety techniques, use of assistive devices, fall prevention, and strategies to support recovery and independence in the home environment.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, adhere to agency policies and state regulations, participate in care coordination activities, and support quality patient care across the assigned service area.RequirementsFL Physical Therapist Assistant License.Home Care Experience with HCHB experience.Type of certification required: BLSMinimum Education Requirement: Associate degree.Important Details13-week assignments (May be extended based on business needs)Work Location: Leesburg, FLCoverage Areas: Lake and Sumter CountiesWill mileage be reimbursed between visits, from first patient to last patient (Y/N)?
