Position Details:

• Discipline: Special Education (Mod/Severe)
• Dates: 2026–2027 School Year
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Caseload: Elementary ESN (Mod/Severe) self-contained classroom supporting students in 2nd–3rd grade
• Setting: Elementary Special Education (ESN) self-contained classroom

Special Education Teacher Job Description:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities in a self-contained ESN classroom
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support students with academic, functional, communication, and behavioral goals
• Create structured lessons and individualized learning plans based on student needs
• Collaborate with families, related service providers, and school staff to support student growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with special education requirements

Pay & Benefits:

Requirements:

• Active California Moderate/Severe Special Education Credential or equivalent (required)
