Bond Retail is a San Francisco based boutique real estate development and brokerage firm specializing in street retail properties in California and select markets nationally. Bond Retail owns and operates street retail properties, represents retailers & retail property owners arranging for leases, property sales as well as property development & financing.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries, and reconciliation of financial data
• Assist in the cash activities across property holdings, as well as two operating businesses.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Process payroll and tips
• Generate monthly financial statements
• Issue 1099’s and ensure that W-2’s are properly issued
• Bank reconciliations
• Monitor banking activities as well as cash balances
• Project annual budgets
• Project CAM estimates and CAM reconciliations
• Update rent rolls
• Employee onboarding and departures
• Bank deposits
• Prepare reports for owners
• Prepare reports for CPA
• Lender reports produced quarterly
• Prepare various business license renewals, asset listings and remitting all taxes.
• Collect and generate retail sales report of all retail tenancies
• Utility charges
• Monthly sale tax payment and quarterly reporting
• Limited office management duties

Who you will work with 

• Daily interaction with the owner and staff members
• Monthly reporting to managing partner and limited partners
• Monthly and quarterly reporting to lender(s)

 

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in accounting 
• 10+ years of accounting experience with strong preference for real estate experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software Yardi Genisis-2, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail producing accurate data on all entries and reporting
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects across the businesses
