- Responsible for collaborating across the Inflight Dining Operations organization to efficiently design the galley packing of all catering items across the American Airlines Mainline and Regional fleet
- This job is a member of the Inflight Dining Operations team within the Airports group.
- As noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.
- Responsible for updating galley diagrams for select mainline and regional markets and stations
- Coordinates catering for charter flights
- Analyzes performance trends and reports on flight attendant and customer data in regard to catering accuracy and service failures
- Develops and implements alternative catering options as needed during off schedule operations and kitchen disruptions (e.g. labor actions, extreme weather conditions, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
- 2+ years of relevant training or experience
- Ability to travel within a short notice period
- Knowledge of Inflight Dining Operations
- Prior Inflight experience
- Food service or hospitality background
- Ability to problem solve and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and able to make timely decisions independently
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
