CAD Operator

We are looking for a detail-oriented CAD Operator to join our fire protection team in Tampa. In this role, you will work closely with our Design Manager to develop fire detection and clean agent suppression system designs, contributing to projects from initial layout through completed documentation. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Design Manager to learn and perform fire detection and clean agent fire suppression system design, including hydraulic calculations. Draft new fire detection and suppression system layouts using CAD software, including device placement and conduit routing on floor plans. Organize and maintain electronic drawing files and project documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility across the team. Ideal background Some exposure to, and foundational experience with, fire detection and alarm system design. Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is a plus. Familiarity with NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) and NFPA 2001 (Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Systems) standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr Topa Group, Inc.
