Surgical Technologist – PerioperativeShift: Evening — 15:00 (3:00 PM) startRequirements:Minimum 2 years clinical experienceCalifornia state license required at time of submittalBLS certification requiredPreferred: ASATT, Cer.A.T.T certificationsPatient ratio experience: 1-2 supervisory or higher references required at time of submissionAssignment Details:Weekend requirement: 2 weekends per 13 weeksOn-call: 2 weekends plus 3-4 weeknights on-call per 6-week schedulePre-approved time off: 1 (per contract)RTO / Scheduling: No scheduling requests allowed; no RTO within the first 2 weeks; max RTO 10 days (must be included at submission)Roles & Responsibilities:Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures, including setup and turnover.Position patients for surgery and ensure proper instruments and equipment are available.Support anesthesia providers with airway assistance and monitoring equipment.Process and sterilize surgical instruments as per protocol.Participate in the surgical time-out and adhere to universal protocols.Document equipment and scope/probe processing as required.Compliance / Notes:State license required in hand at time of submittal (no pending/temp licenses)2 supervisory/higher references from within past 12 months required at submissionBackground/license hits: any hits require a written statement; open/pending hits are an automatic redirect — all must be closedPrior permanent employment at the facility requires a 24-month separation before eligibility for travel roles — disclose all past employmentNon-billable pre-start modules: up to ~2 hours; completed pre-start and annuallyTraveler must be flexible; no schedule requests allowedClient Details: City Torrance, State CA
