Registered Nurse – Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients requiring cardiac monitoring and/or closer observation than standard Medical-Surgical units
• Manage and monitor patients with high-volume diagnoses including CHF, NSTEMI, stroke, pulmonary disorders, diabetes, multi-system diseases, and post-surgical conditions
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 (PCU) and up to 1:5–1:6 (Telemetry) in accordance with unit guidelines
• Participate in rotating holidays and weekends; float within scope as needed
• Complete required facility onboarding modules prior to start date via the online portal

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license, or Virginia/compact license in hand at time of submittal — no exceptions
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Proof of residency must match candidate licensure

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health record system preferred
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
