Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota Type: 12 month Contract Compensation: $50.00 - $53.50 Work Model: Hybrid onsite and remote

Responsibilities

Support procurement, project, and financial governance activities by gathering, validating, maintaining, and tracking project and financial information within SharePoint-based systems. Partner closely with project managers, coordinators, controllers, procurement, financial management, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure information accuracy and completeness. Enter, update, and maintain data within SharePoint and related tracking tools, ensuring compliance with standards and timely processing. Review and validate project, procurement, and financial submissions for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards; identify and resolve discrepancies. Support procurement request intake and workflow activities, monitoring request statuses and following up with stakeholders as needed. Serve as a primary point of contact for project teams regarding procurement data requirements; communicate effectively to clarify requirements and resolve questions. Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and support project managers, controllers, and financial staff to maintain data integrity. Perform regular data quality reviews, investigate discrepancies, and support reporting and audit activities. Identify opportunities to improve data quality, process efficiencies, and operational workflows; contribute to documentation and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in preparing procurement and project tracking reports, validating data for leadership review, and maintaining organized documentation. Participate in team meetings to discuss priorities, upcoming work, and process questions, supporting ongoing process improvements.

Requirements

2-5 years of experience supporting procurement, project coordination, financial administration, or data management. Proven ability to maintain large volumes of information with high accuracy and attention to detail. Experience working with SharePoint, Excel, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer-service mindset, proactive follow-through, and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholder groups. Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Preferred: Experience with procurement systems, SAP, or in utility, construction, engineering, or technology environments.
