Video Editor We're seeking a Video Editor to join our dynamic Emmy Award winning production team in Louisville, KY. This role is perfect for someone with strong editing skills, a creative eye, and a passion for emerging technologies-particularly AI in video production. You'll transform raw footage into compelling narratives while learning and applying new tools and techniques that keep RedTag at the forefront of industry trends. Key Responsibilities Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for commercials, campaigns, social media, events, and branded content. Collaborate closely with producers, videographers, and creative directors to bring the creative vision to life. Use AI-powered tools for editing, color grading, motion graphics, and other post-production tasks. Keep up with AI and video technology trends and share ideas for new workflows and techniques. Adapt content for various formats and platforms (e.g., Reels, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn). Enhance videos with motion graphics, sound design, text overlays, and music. Take creative direction and feedback well, and turn around revisions quickly. Maintain organized project files and adhere to brand and quality standards. Qualifications 2–4 years of professional video editing experience , preferably in an agency or high-volume creative environment. Proficiency with industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro). Familiarity with AI-driven editing and creative tools, or a strong eagerness to learn them. Strong storytelling skills, visual sense, and understanding of pacing. Working knowledge of color correction and audio post-production. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with strong communication skills. Portfolio that showcases a range of editing styles and creative versatility. Preferred Skills Motion graphics design skills. Knowledge of animation principles.
