They may also instruct patients’ family members on how to perform basic health‑care routines for terminally ill relatives, and consult regularly with supervising registered nurses to report patient progression and family needs. Qualifications Minimum one year of full‑time direct client care experience in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility) or one year of direct client care in a home health or hospice setting within the last five years. Registered and listed in good standing on the state nurse aide registry for the state of employment. Basic technology skills, including operation of a mobile device. Preferred Education & Experience Demonstrated willingness to learn required skills in lieu of existing technology skills. Arkansas – Nursing students who can demonstrate basic nursing skills with documentation may substitute for a CNA. Arizona – No additional state‑specified education or experience requirements.
