Deric is currently looking for an Electrical Estimator to join its growing team in Florida.

At Deric, we are a multidisciplinary contractor delivering large-scale projects with a real and lasting impact. Our expertise includes electrical, instrumentation and control and automation, with a strong focus on environmental technologies, water and wastewater infrastructure, and renewable energy projects.

As part of our expansion in the United States, we are looking for an experienced, structured, and detail-oriented professional who is ready to play a key role in our estimating team.

This position is based out of Deerfield Beach and offers a professional and collaborative work environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Electrical Estimator, you'll play a key role in helping us win work and drive the success of our projects. You'll work closely with leadership, project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to develop accurate, competitive bids for commercial, industrial, municipal, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewplans, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements.
• Performdetailed quantity takeoffs and identify required materials, equipment, andsubcontracted work.
• Prepareaccurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, andsubcontractors.
• Solicitand evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Preparecomplete bid packages and ensure timely submission of proposals.
• Followup with clients and general contractors regarding bid status and projectopportunities.
• Participatein pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client meetings as required.
• Collaboratewith project managers and operations personnel during project turnoverafter award.
• Developvalue-engineering and cost-saving solutions to improve competitiveness.
• Maintainestimating databases, pricing information, and bid documentation.
• Utilizeestimating software and industry tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Supportthe continued growth and development of our estimating department.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a motivated Electrical Estimator who wants to be part of a growing team and help build something meaningful. If you enjoy winning work, solving problems, and working on challenging commercial and industrial projects, we'd like to talk with you.

Requirements:

• 5+years of electrical estimating experience
• Strongbackground in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction
• Abilityto read and interpret plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Experienceperforming quantity takeoffs and preparing complete estimates
• Strongknowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and installation methods
• Organized,detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple bids simultaneously
• Excellentcommunication and follow-up skills
• Proficientwith Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Validdriver's license and ability to attend site visits when required

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experiencewith Electrical Bid Manager or similar estimating software
• Experiencewith medium-voltage systems
• Knowledgeof instrumentation and controls
• Experienceestimating water/wastewater, municipal, healthcare, or industrial projects
