Automation Engineer

Design and develop automation solutions to improve system efficiency

Work on automating manual processes in software or industrial environments

Support development and maintenance of automation frameworks

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement understanding and implementation

Ensure smooth execution and integration of automated systems

Analyze business or system requirements for automation opportunities

Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows

Test, debug, and validate automated processes

Monitor system performance and ensure reliability of automation tools

Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues

Maintain documentation for processes and configurations

Improve existing automation systems for better performance and efficiency

Ensure compliance with technical and quality standards

Strong programming knowledge in Python, Java, or C#

Understanding of automation tools and frameworks

Knowledge of software development lifecycle

Problem-solving and analytical thinking

Basic understanding of system integration

Knowledge of testing concepts and methodologies

Good communication and teamwork skills

Experience with automation tools like Selenium, UiPath, Ansible (as applicable)

Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar

API testing and integration knowledge

Version control using Git

Basic SQL and database understanding

Debugging and troubleshooting skills

Exposure to cloud platforms (optional but preferred)

Minimum 8-10+ years of experience as an Automation engineer

Minimum 2-3+ years of experience in Playwright

Strong knowledge in Selenium, BDD, Cucumber & Java automation frameworks

Strong knowledge in API automation

Strong Understanding in Agile Process and experience in JIRA/confluence tool
