Senior Database Architect

Role Description

Designs, implements, and maintains full life cycle of complex databases including:

• Tables
• Views
• Stored procedures
• Indexes
• Functions
• Jobs
• Rules and roles
• Replications
• Other database objects

• Understands and maintains database interaction with other mission critical systems.
• Manages or develops databases with respect to the operating system, access methods, and access time.
• Creates or maintains database clustering.
• Creates, monitors and troubleshoots database replications.
• Provides highly technical expertise in the use of database management systems.
• Defines file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications.
• Conducts device allocation, validation checks, organization, and statistical methods.
• Maintains database dictionaries.
• Integrates systems through database design.
• Works in collaboration with Development and Engineering teams.
• Evaluates and recommends available database management products and services.
• Follows database standards and plays quality assurance role.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of technical experience, including at least five years of specialized experience.
• Significant prior experience in supporting MS SQL Server 2016, 2019 or later versions.
• BA/BS in Technical, Engineering or Management field; Master's Degree can be substituted with four (4) additional years of experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
• Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
