Job Title: Class A CDL Truck Driver

Job Summary: The Class A CDL Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting construction materials to and from jobsites while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. This role performs routine vehicle inspections, assists with loading and unloading as needed, and supports construction operations by delivering materials safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

• Haul material to and from various jobsites including gravel, sand, dirt, recycled concrete and other aggregate material.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment before and after use according to DOT and company maintenance checklist.
• Assist heavy-haul drivers as needed with transporting equipment and material such as pipes, CONEX-boxes, form systems..etc.
• Ensure that loads are tightly and safely secured in or on vehicle. May be required to tie rope or secure chains around load.
• Maintain records, logs and inspection reports.
• This role may be required to perform emergency roadside repair to vehicles, including but not limited to: changing tires, installing light bulbs and installing spark plugs.
• This role may assist other workers in loading and unloading vehicles, and could require lifting up to 100 lbs. or more.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Class A CDL driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• 3-5 years of previous experience as an aggregate or material driver is required.
• Must have the ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Must be able to operate a truck-and-trailer configuration (End Dump/Belly Dump). Tandem experience is a plus.
• Responsible for the safe operation of your assigned vehicle and load you are tasked with.
• Must be aware of and obey all DOT regulations and rules of traffic.
• Know company safety policies and adhere to them while working at all times.
• Must maintain a good driving record during employment.
• Other miscellaneous duties as directed by your supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional endorsements and certifications is a plus.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
