Job Description
Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in Sterile Processing and an active CRCST certification. The technician will be responsible for maintaining sterility and ensuring that all instruments and equipment meet health and safety standards.

Shift Details

This position is an 8-hour mid-shift from 12 PM to 8 PM, with variable weekend call requirements. Scrubs are provided by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Process, sterilize, and store medical instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
• Float to Endoscopy or Sterile Processing Department as needed.
• Participate in weekend on-call rotations, with evening and night coverage as required.
• Utilize EMR systems, specifically Epic and Censitrac, for documentation and tracking.
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sterile Processing.
• Active CRCST certification is required and must be on file.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
