Nursery Laborer (Mandatory Sunday Shift)

Overview Piala's Nursery & Garden Shop, Inc. is currently seeking General Laborers for our retail nursery. These seasonal positions run the duration of our operating season, which is typically from mid-March through mid-December (when the weather turns inclement), and offer 40 hours per week. Overtime is available, but not required. Candidates MUST be able to safely operate a skid loader or be able and willing to learn. Candidates must be available to work the weekly Sunday Shift (approximately 9:30am-3:30pm). The rest of the schedule is flexible/negotiable. This position is ideal for a self-driven individual that is willing to learn quickly and able to take direction from management. The General Laborer position is physically demanding, requiring manual work in all weather conditions. Horticulture and/or farming experience is ideal, but not required. Compensation package is based on experience.
