Summary:The Childcare Assistant Director is responsible for assisting in the overall management and operation of the childcare center. This includes ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, as well as managing staff and regulatory compliance. Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records and reports.Staff Management: Train, supervise, and assist in evaluating staff. Participate in regular staff meetings and support ongoing professional development opportunities. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Program Development: Support age-appropriate curriculum and activities. Ensure the program meets the developmental needs of all children. Help improve program quality on an ongoing basis.Family Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with families. Communicate regularly about center activities and important events. Address parent concerns and feedback in a timely manner.Community Relations: Represent the center in the community. Build partnerships with local organizations and agencies.
