Wind Turbine Technician

Overview This is a site-based Wind Technician opening for a wind farm site near Bad Axe, Michigan. This is a local position so no relocation assistance will be offered to non-local candidates. Although previous wind turbine maintenance experience is preferred, this opportunity is also available to mechanically/electrically inclined candidates with transferrable skills looking to join the wind industry. Responsibilities Change gearbox oil in a designated area or wind field. Grease/torque wind turbines. Perform checks on turbines and repair problems as needed. Replace mechanical components. Service blade and hub components as required by turbine type.
