Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Valhalla, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.25 - $20.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage manufacturing or distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas, while reporting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and support site access-control procedures for personnel, deliveries, and service providers.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and documenting observations and actions taken.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and property damage through a visible presence, professional communication, and timely reporting to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
