Now Hiring: Lead School-Age Teacher

Hours during the school year 2:00 pm -5:30pm

Full time hours in the summer

Could turn into a full time position if needed

DaVinci Academy is currently seeking a passionate, nurturing, and experienced Lead School-Age Teacher to join our team! If you love working with children and are dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment, we would love to hear from you.

Position Overview

As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and early learning experiences for our eldest learners. You will help create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that supports each child’s growth and development.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, loving care to all children in a safe and nurturing environment

Implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities

Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom

Follow all DCFS licensing standards and center policies

Communicate effectively with families regarding their child’s development and daily activities

Supervise and support any and all teachers in the classroom

Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed

Qualifications

Must meet DCFS Lead Teacher qualifications

Previous experience working in an school-age classroom preferred

Strong understanding of development and care of school-age children

Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Dependable, professional, and caring demeanor
